Geraldo Rivera was born on July 4, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York City, to a family of mixed heritage. He gained notoriety with the live 1986 TV special The Mystery of Al Capone's Vaults and went on to host the tabloid talk show Geraldo from 1987 to 1998. As a prominent figure in American media, he also hosted news magazine programs like Geraldo at Large and was a co-host of The Five from 2022 to 2023.
