Biography

Mayra Gómez Kemp was a pioneering television host, actress, and singer who broke ground as the first woman to host a TV quiz show with "Un, dos, tres... responda otra vez" from 1982 to 1988. Born in Havana, Cuba on February 14, 1948, she later moved to Miami, where she pursued her career in theater and film. A college student at the time, she appeared in the 1966 "B"-movie "The Death Curse of Tartu."
