She made her breakthrough in Leonardo Pieraccioni's The Prince and the Pirate (2001) before starring in notable films such as Eros (2004), Letters to Juliet (2010), and The Hand of God (2021). Her portrayal of Maria Callas in the 2005 Italian television film Callas e Onassis also launched her acting career.
