Philippe Katerine is a French singer-songwriter, actor, director, and writer born on December 8, 1968. He began his career in 1991 with music style often described as easy-listening with bossa nova accents and quirky chanson style. As an actor, he gained attention for roles in biopic Gainsbourg, A Heroic Life (2010) and offbeat comedies like I am a No Man's Land (2011), La Tour 2 contrôle infernale (2016). He won the César Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Sink or Swim (2018).
