Biography

Maggie Steed is an English actress and comedian born Margaret Baker on December 1, 1946. She broke into the alternative comedy scene in 1979 with her personal and confessional material, performing at notable venues such as the Comedy Store. Her early television credits include roles in Shine on Harvey Moon and Pie in the Sky. Steed has also performed with the Royal National Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Company.
