Biography

Yoichi Miura was a Japanese actor and singer born on January 21, 1954, in Danbari, Aichi Prefecture. He began his acting career at 20 with the theater troupe Gekiidan Shibasaki and gained popularity for his roles in "Seven People's Lawyer" (1978) and "A-chan". Miura also pursued a music career, forming the rock band Hot Lips, before his death from stomach cancer on May 14, 2000, at age 46.
