Eve Myles is a Welsh actress born on July 26, 1978. She rose to prominence with her roles in the BBC Wales drama Belonging and as Gwen Cooper in the science fiction series Torchwood, earning a BAFTA Cymru award for Best Actress in 2007. After graduating from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Myles also appeared in the miniseries Tales from Pleasure Beach and the television drama Colditz.
