Kisao Tobita

Biography

Kisao Tobita was a Japanese actor born on March 24, 1926, in Tokyo's Asakusa district. He began his career as a child actor at the age of four, joining Toei Film Distribution in 1930 and debuting with "昼寝も出来ない" in 1932. After changing his name to Kisao Tobita in 1947, he became an exclusive talent for Daiei Tokyo Studio, starring in numerous films throughout the post-war period until its downfall in 1971.
