Biography

Matty Kemp was a prolific American film actor who appeared in over 50 films between 1926 and 1943, including the notable role of Rodney Addison in "Here's Flash Casey" (1938). After retiring from acting, he ventured into producing musical short films and even contributed to the story for Jane Russell's 1954 film "The French Line". Kemp was a close friend of musician Charles "Buddy" Rogers and an early manager of The Mary Pickford Foundation.
