Biography

Noëlle Noblecourt was a French actress and host who gained notoriety for her on-air attire during her tenure at RTF from 1961 to 1964. Her decision to wear a mini-jupe led to a scandal, prompting the network to fire her and sparking widespread public outcry, with over 900 letters of protest received by the magazine Télé 7 jours. Noblecourt was later replaced by Jacqueline Monsigny on the show "Télé Dimanche."
