Biography

Milo Jay Aukerman is an American singer and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the influential punk rock band Descendents. With a PhD in biology from UC San Diego, Aukerman traded his lab coat for a microphone after deciding to pursue music full-time in 2016. The Descendents are widely regarded as pioneers of the pop-punk genre, and Aukerman's distinctive voice has become iconic in the punk rock scene.
