Biography

Massimo Vignelli was a renowned Italian designer born in Milan on January 10, 1931. He studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and later at the Università Iuav di Venezia, before joining Castiglioni brothers' design firm as a draftsman at 16. In 1966, Vignelli co-founded Unimark International's New York branch with Bob Noorda, helping establish the firm's corporate identity design expertise.
