Biography

Yaakov Cohen was a Moroccan-born Israeli actor and comedian who rose to prominence in Israeli theater, earning notable awards for his work at the Acco Festival of Alternative Israeli Theatre and receiving a Special Award for "Bustan Sephardi". He later transitioned into television presenting and voice artistry. Born in 1958, Cohen passed away on November 2, 2024, due to complications from Parkinson's disease, at the age of 66.
