Héctor Daniel "Chino" Herrera Bates was a Mexican actor and comedian known for his work in theater, film, television, and radio. Born on January 3, 1903, in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, he debuted as an actor alongside his father in vernacular comedy theater before venturing into cinema during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. He worked extensively in television, hosting various programs, including "Martes de 21:30" and participating in popular shows like "Las estrellas y usted".
