Javier Grillo-Marxuach

Biography

Javier "Javi" Grillo-Marxuach is a television screenwriter and producer born on October 28, 1969, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He co-created the ABC series Lost, serving as supervising producer and writer for its first two seasons, and also worked on Charmed and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Grillo-Marxuach has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Southern California and has sponsored fellowships for MFA students interested in Hispanic language and culture.
