Jan Francis

Biography

Janet Stephanie Francis was born on August 5, 1947, at Charing Cross Hospital in London to a clerical officer and an employment agent. She trained as a dancer with the Royal Ballet Senior School before transitioning to acting, performing in various productions including the Royal Ballet Touring Company and later, the BBC Television drama series Anne of Green Gables. Francis is also known for her roles in the 1979 film Dracula and the 1980s romantic comedy Just Good Friends.
