Line Arlien-Søborg is a Danish former actress and film director born on July 25, 1966. She gained international recognition for her roles as the conniving schoolgirl Anne-Mette in Nils Malmros's "Tree of Knowledge" (1981) and the lead role of Mette in Malmros's drama "Skønheden og udyret" (Beauty and the Beast), for which she won both the 1984 Bodil and Robert awards.
