John Lloyd Young is a Tony Award-winning American actor and singer born on July 4, 1975, in Sacramento, California. He won the 2006 Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Musical for his role as Frankie Valli in Broadway's Jersey Boys. Young reprised his iconic role in the 2014 film adaptation of the musical, directed by Clint Eastwood. He was appointed to the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities by Barack Obama.
