Marion Hargrove
Biography
Edward Thomas Marion Lawton Hargrove Jr. was a renowned American writer, best known for his bestselling book "See Here, Private Hargrove", a collection of humorous newspaper columns that was adapted into a 1944 movie. He also wrote two novels, "Something's Got to Give" and "The Girl He Left Behind", which were adapted into films in 1948 and 1956, respectively. A veteran of Yank, the Army Weekly, Hargrove's work spanned multiple mediums, including television and magazines.
