Rachel Riley is a television presenter born on January 11, 1986, in Paddington, London. She co-presents the Channel 4 daytime puzzle show Countdown and its comedy spin-off 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, showcasing her interest in popularising mathematics and the sciences. A graduate in mathematics, Riley has also co-hosted The Gadget Show and appeared on Strictly Come Dancing. She was appointed an MBE for services to Holocaust education and antisemitism awareness.
