Biography

Adelle August was a Washington-born actress who rose to fame as Miss Washington USA in 1952. She briefly blazed a trail in Hollywood, appearing in three films and two TV episodes, including the western series Cheyenne. After a career in showgirl performances at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas, August married Leonard Rogers in 1959, adopting her married name, Adelle M. Rogers.
