Born in Osaka, Japan to a South Korean mother and Japanese father of Korean descent in 1982, Yuri Nakamura became active in the entertainment industry in 1998 with her music duo YuriMari. She transitioned to acting in 2003, winning the Rookie Award at the third Osaka Cinema Festival in 2008 for her role in Pacchigi! Love & Peace. Since then, she has appeared in various films and television dramas, including "Fatal Frame" and "Motherhood".
