Ian Roberts is a British-born Australian actor and former professional rugby league footballer, born in Chelsea, London in 1965. A New South Wales State of Origin and Australian international representative forward, he played club football with several teams before becoming the first high-profile Australian sports person to publicly identify as gay in 1995. He has also appeared in films such as "Lonesome" (2022) and "13/13/13".
