Ramon Agirre

Biography

Ramon Agirre Lasarte is a Basque actor, comedian, writer, and painter, born in Donosti-San Sebastián's Amara neighborhood. He studied architecture at the University of Valladolid before transitioning to acting at the School of Dramatic Art of the Basque Government in 1983. Notable films include Handia, winner of ten Goya Awards in 2018, and Michael Haneke's Amour, which won the Palm d'Or at Cannes in 2012.
