Paul Burrell

Biography

Paul Burrell was born on June 6, 1958, in Grassmoor, Derbyshire, and initially pursued a career at Buckingham Palace, where he became the Queen's personal footman at age 19. He later joined Charles and Diana's household as butler to Princess Diana at Highgrove House in 1987, serving her until her death in 1997. Burrell has since appeared in documentaries about his time with the royal family, including "Diana: Life in Fashion" (2022).
