Eva Mottley was a Barbadian-born British and Nigerian-raised actress who began her career after serving a 15-month prison sentence for LSD possession. She gained recognition for her roles in the television dramas Widows and Only Fools and Horses, as well as films like Scrubbers and Superman III. Her life took a tragic turn when she left the production of Widows 2 due to alleged abuse, ultimately leading to her death from an overdose in 1985 at age 31.
