Diane von Fürstenberg is a Belgian fashion designer and entrepreneur born on December 31, 1946. She rose to prominence in the late 1960s and became synonymous with her iconic wrap dress. As the former chairwoman of the Council of Fashion Designers of America and a recipient of numerous accolades, including an honorary doctorate from The New School and induction into the National Women's Hall of Fame, she has cemented her status as a fashion icon.
