Biography

Robert James was a Scottish actor known for his distinctive voice and notable roles in television. He played Lesterson in the 1966 Doctor Who serial The Power of the Daleks, which has since been recreated as an animation. A handful of his surviving performances were broadcast in the UK during the 1960s and 70s, before becoming largely forgotten. James passed away in 2004 at the age of 80 from Alzheimer's disease.
