Biography

Edward Neil Anthony Hannon is a Northern Irish singer and songwriter born on November 7, 1970. He is the founder and frontman of the chamber pop group The Divine Comedy, which he has led since its inception in 1989. Notable highlights include writing theme tunes for TV sitcoms Father Ted and The IT Crowd, as well as original songs for the musical film Wonka (2023).
