Tom Oliver is a British-born naturalised Australian retired actor born on June 12, 1938. He is best known for his long-running role as Lou Carpenter in the TV soap opera Neighbours, a character he portrayed for over 25 years. Prior to Neighbours, Oliver appeared in several Crawford Productions police procedurals and starred in rural series Bellbird on the ABC.
