Freddie Davies is a British comedian and actor born on July 21, 1937, in Brixton, London. He gained public notice in 1964 through his appearance on the ITV talent show Opportunity Knocks, which marked the beginning of his successful career in television series and films. Davies also began his career as a Butlin's holiday camp entertainer in 1958 and later turned professional, starting on the cabaret circuit in 1964.
