Noele Gordon

Biography

Noele Gordon was a Scottish-born English actress and television presenter born on December 25, 1919, in East Ham, Essex. She began her career at a young age, making her first public appearance at the East Ham Palace and later participating in John Logie Baird's color transmission tests as a teenager. Gordon went on to appear in various stage productions before landing a notable role in the long-running British soap opera Crossroads, playing Meg Mortimer from 1964 to 1981.
