Michael Lorenzo Urie is an American actor born on August 8, 1980, in Houston, Texas. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Marc St. James on the ABC comedy drama series Ugly Betty and later won a Critics Choice Television Award for his role as Brian in the Apple TV+ series Shrinking, earning consecutive Primetime Emmy nominations. Urie also studied at Juilliard before graduating in 2003.
