Michael Polley is a veteran actor born in England in 1933, who studied acting in the 1950s alongside Albert Finney. He emigrated to Canada and honed his craft on the stage before joining his wife Diane's career as a casting director, which led to launching their daughter Sarah's acting career at four years old. Polley supported Sarah's early success, acting in her films like Terry Gilliam's The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, and has continued to act into his seventies.
