Biography

Steve Markle is a Canadian filmmaker and actor known for his documentary "Camp Hollywood," which won a Gemini Award in 2005, and "Shoot To Marry," which took home the Slamdance Film Festival Audience Award in 2020. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Markle graduated from Ryerson University in 1993 with the Norman Jewison Filmmaking Award. He has also directed TV commercials and music videos prior to his creative director position at Showcase.
