Leonard Ray Dawson, born June 20, 1935, is a legendary American football quarterback who played for 19 seasons in the NFL and AFL. He began his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers before joining the Kansas City Chiefs as part of their inaugural team in 1960. Dawson spent the last 14 seasons of his career with the Chiefs, leading them to multiple championships.
