John Bloom

Biography

John Bloom was a towering figure in American cinema, standing at an imposing 7 ft 4 in tall. He was perhaps best known for his roles as the Frankenstein Monster in "Dracula vs. Frankenstein" and the reaper in "The Hills Have Eyes Part II." A beloved giant of low-budget horror, Bloom's on-screen presence continues to delight audiences with its sheer physicality. His life cut tragically short, he died from heart failure at 54 due to complications from his immense height.
