Illya Woloshyn was a Canadian actor of Ukrainian descent, beginning his career at a young age in productions such as Jacob Two-Two Meets the Hooded Fang and Les Misérables. He gained national recognition for his role as Jay in The Odyssey, before retiring from acting in 1999. A husband to Tanya Pelensky, Woloshyn passed away suddenly at home on January 19, 2023, at age 43.
