Biography

Goodman Ace was a prominent American humorist and writer, born Goodman Aiskowitz in Kansas City, Missouri, to Latvian Jewish immigrants. He began writing at a young age, taking on his first pseudonym as editor of his high school newspaper, and later honed his craft as a reporter and columnist for the Kansas City Journal-Post. Ace's low-key humor and literary style earned him a sought-after reputation in radio and television from the 1930s to the 1960s. He is best known for his work on "The Movie Orgy" (1968).
