Noriko Watanabe is a Japanese actress and singer born on July 22, 1965, in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture. She gained recognition as one of the "Kadokawa Three Princesses" alongside Hiroko Yakushimaru and Tomoyo Harada in the 1980s. Watanabe won the Japanese Academy Award for Newcomer of the Year in 1983 for her role in the film "Tsumiki Kuzushi." She has since appeared in numerous TV dramas and films, including "His Motorbike, Her Island" and "Death of a Ninja."
