Chris Renaud

Biography

Chris Renaud is a filmmaker and designer, born in December 1966 in Baltimore. He graduated from Syracuse University with an illustration degree and began his career as a graphic designer, later transitioning to animation and directing films like Despicable Me (2010). His work includes the Ice Age short film No Time for Nuts (2006) and The Secret Life of Pets franchise. Renaud also co-created characters like Minions and Norman.
