Faria Alam

Biography

Faria Alam is a former Football Association secretary born on February 13, 1966, in Dhaka but raised in the UK. She later moved to Bangladesh at 19 and arranged a marriage, only divorcing and returning to England years later. In 2003, Alam took a job as personal assistant to David Davies at The Football Association, where she briefly dated Mark Palios before having an affair with Sven-Goran Eriksson, which led to her resignation in 2004.
