Biography

Jonathan Hale was a Canadian-born film and television actor, best known for his roles in the Blondie film series as Julius Caesar Dithers and The Saint films as Inspector Fernack. He also appeared in various other notable films and TV shows, including The Cisco Kid, Adventures of Superman, and Walt Disney Presents: "A Tribute to Joel Chandler Harris". Hale's life was cut short when he took his own life at the age of 74.
