He began his career as a member of Kansai Johnny's Jr., later becoming the main vocalist of the boy band Kanjani Eight. In 2018, he left the group to pursue a solo career, releasing his debut album "Nisai" in October 2019. As a solo artist, Shibutani has established himself as a talented singer and songwriter.
