Steven John Wilson (born 3 November 1967) is an English musician and songwriter. As the founder of Porcupine Tree, he has made music prolifically, earning critical acclaim and six Grammy Award nominations across his work with the band and as a solo artist. With influences spanning pop, psychedelia, progressive rock, and electronic genres, Wilson's self-taught compositional skills have shaped a diverse discography.
