Gavin Harrison is a British drummer and percussionist known for his long tenures with progressive rock bands Porcupine Tree and King Crimson. He has authored instructional drum books and DVDs, winning the 'Best In Show' award at the 2010 NAMM show. A Modern Drummer magazine readers' poll winner consecutively from 2007-2010, Harrison's influences include his father's jazz collection and notable drummers such as Steve Gadd.
