Biography

Matsuko Deluxe is a Japanese columnist and TV personality born on October 26, 1972. He transitioned to live as a cross-dressing gay man after training as a beautician, eventually becoming an editor and writer for the Japanese gay magazine Badi. His debut in the media came in 2000 with a late-night variety show appearance, which paved the way for his book appearances and interviews, including Usagi Nakamura's 2001 publication about unconventional women.
