Biography

Bill Plympton is an American animator and filmmaker known for his Academy Award-nominated short film Your Face (1987) and the animated series Guard Dog, which debuted in 2004. He began publishing cartoons in The New York Times and The Village Voice, and also created a syndicated political cartoon strip, before transitioning to full-length animation with films like The Tune (1992) and Idiots and Angels (2008). His work has been featured on MTV's Animania series and the Sundance Film Festival.
