Paul Atkins

Biography

Paul Atkins, ASC, is a cinematographer and director known for his work on acclaimed natural history films like Planet Earth and Great White Shark. He has won numerous awards, including Emmys, British Academy Awards, and an Oscar nomination for Master and Commander. His passion for the ocean led him to pursue a Ph.D. in marine biology at University of Hawaii, where he began working in film as an underwater cinematographer.
