Harold P. Loch was a decorated veteran of World War II, serving as an engineer and top turret gunner on the Memphis Belle. He was one of only eight crew members to survive a complete tour of duty on the B-17 bomber. His remarkable experience was later immortalized in the 1944 film "The Memphis Belle: A Story of a Flying Fortress".
